First off, don't cover the microphone when you record something, it can happen, we know. When you record audio, make sure that there is a certain rhythm to your recording and that there are no long silences in between.
While recording audio, mind the surrounding sounds like wind and breath: they can overpower things you want to highlight. Start and stop your recording at the right times so you don’t cut out certain pieces or have silences in the beginning or end.
Lastly, you should always check your files before uploading and sending them in mIKs-it in case you may have recorded things you didn’t intend to share.
You’ll learn more by doing so we wish you lots of fun experimenting!
